Service Overview
The Confidence Movement Program provides structured, movement-based sessions designed to support children in developing fundamental movement skills, coordination, and confidence to participate in physical activity and everyday environments.
This service focuses on building each child’s capacity through engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote independence, social participation, and physical competence.
Who This Service Is For
This program is suitable for children who:
- Experience low confidence in movement or sport
- Have delays in coordination, balance, or motor skills
- Are hesitant to participate in group or physical activities
- Benefit from structured, supportive environments to build confidence
What the Service Includes
Sessions are tailored to the individual and may include:
- Development of fundamental movement skills (e.g. running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance)
- Structured games and activities to build coordination and body awareness
- Gradual exposure to participation in movement and group-based tasks
- Confidence-building through achievable challenges and positive reinforcement
- Support to improve engagement in school, sport, and community activities
